Here we go.....2010.  Hard to believe, one decade down, 9 to go!!

I am making a few changes to the challenge.  Not major, but I have noticed that I have quite a few people who have not participated, so I am just going to list the active members of our group, and if anyone wants to join, just post and let me know.

So, I am setting my goal at 800 this month.  I am hoping to pass it by a lot, but I also want to be realistic.

Rosemary - goal -  1200
kmvanliet - goal -  800

Hi Martha and Happy New Year everyone -

I'm going to set my goal at 800 also.  It's going to be a hectic month for us as my Mom, who's been living with us for the last 3 weeks, will be moving to her new place in Hooksett.  We'll be spending a lot of time moving/unpacking her.  I do still want to do as much walking as possible at lunchtime, but the weather . . .

Hi Martha,
My plan has not been going well.  I am trying to stay on track, but it's been difficult with the holidays and my Mom being here and all.  I'm doing my best, still trying to get in the exercise at least.  I'm just going to keep plugging away and hopefully I won't do too much damage.  I think I'll be able to get back on a better track after my Mom's settled.  She just doesn't like the stuff that we eat, so we've had to compromise on that, plus the holidays were really tough this year because of all of the temptation - like for everyone else, I'm sure!

Hi Kathy

Sounds like you have a pretty good plan going on for the situation you are in.  Hang in there, and do the best you can.  There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Hi Everyone,

I'm going to shoot for 1200 minutes this month.
Kathy - it's good to hear from you. I'm happy everything is ok. Wish your mom luck with her move.
You'll be fine once everything is settled.

Let's get moving everyone!!

Ok so since I just had my surgery and I can not do any heavy workouts for a while I am going to say my goal this month is do at least the 20 to 30 minutes a day I am allowed which would give me a total of almost 500 minutes lets see if I can but aside the 20 to 30 minutes everyday rather than the 60 to 90 that I usually do a couple times a week.. slow and steady for me until I am cleared to have free rain of tha gym again..
