Just want to wish all a very blessed Christmas Day.

Also wanted to let everyone know that Dr. Jeff Brown will finally be starting back up his support groups in Nashua.
They will be on the last Tuesday of each month and will be held at the Nashua Senior Center on Temple St in Nashua.

I believe they will be held from 6pm til 8pm but will check on the time again and let you know if it starts at a different time.
Anyone is welcome to attend.

Dr. Brown was the bariatric surgeon at St Joes but is now working out of Winchester Hospital in Massachusetts. He is a great surgeon, caring and a great listener who cares about all his patients and one of the only surgeons that I know that attends almost all monthly support groups and answers any questions we all may have....

Please join us for our first group on the last Tuesday in January. Hope to see you there....Laurie

Laurie,
I know they haven't started yet, but do you have any idea what the mix of lap band vs gastric will be? I know a lot of the issues are the same but I would like to try a group that might discuss the issues with gastric a little more.
Thanks
Doreen

Hi Doreen,

From our past meetings it was 70% GBP and 30% Lapband.

Dr Brown is wonderful, he comes to almost every monthly meeting that we have and will answer any questions he can or he will make sure to get you an answer if you stump him...lol...
I think you would enjoy our group, we have not had a group for a year now, but we are hoping to get a good group started again. I hope we get to see you at the end of January...I'm going to check for the time again, I'm kicking myself right now as I just saw Dr. Brown this morning at church, but I forgot to ask so I'll be e-mailing him and he did say that there will be an ad in the Telegraph soon too.
Hope you have a great New Year....Laurie

Thanks I am going to plan on being there.  I like the CMC meetings, but they have gotten so big in the last year that it's difficult to discuss anything beside newbie or lapband issues.
Happy New Year
Doreen
