Protien Powder

 

I will admit I’m a bit late in the game getting on here... but I finally made it!!

Anyways, I’m having lap band surgery on the 29th of this month and I’m not on a rushed search to find decent tasting protein powder.

I have the stuff from wal-mart now and... ew. I know I can't do that for 2 weeks!!

What does everyone like on here? Walking into GNC to take a look around is a bit overwhelming!!

unjury is pretty good and the pre made myoplex shakes are pretty good also
but protien is a very subjective taste..

I use either Muscle Milk Light or Fiber35Diet FitSmart Shake.  You can get them both on line.  You can also get the FitSmart at Herbal Path in Dover.  What is nice there, is that they sell single packets so you can try them without spending a lot of money.  I am really picky about my shakes, I hate the "protein" taste.  FitSmart is Gluten free.  I mix it with Simply Smart fat free milk, and I put in a little peanut butter in the chocolate. 

I like Syntrax nectar.  You can get it at Nashua Nutrition (either online or at their store in Nashua, NH.)  Roadside Lemonade is my fav. with Fuzzy Navel a close second.  I mix it with water and I can't really taste the protein, just the yummy fruit flavors.  I believe they also offer 1 serving pkgs so you can try them to see which ones you like best.  I did not care for the cappuccino and I don't love the apple, but if I mix 1 scoop lemonade & 1 scoop apple, it's ok.  Same with the caribbean cooler.  The kiwi strawberry is pretty good.

I stopped all chocolate shakes after my surg.  Something about them makes me want to vomit.  It's funny because prior to surgery that's all I drank (EAS or Unjury chocolate blended with milk.)

I have a bunch of Roadside lemonade.  I tried it and really don't like it.  I will try it again, but if I still don't like it, I will give it to you.  Maybe we can get together on December 30.  I have an appointment at 10:30, and family Christmas at 5:00, both in Exeter, but I can meet you at noon, or so, and give you your pampered chef and the drink mix.  How does that sound.

OMG I forgot all about those!!!  I am not sure where to meet.  I guess anywhere that is central to you, and to Route 101.  Do you think the Mall will be crazy that day??  Probably not huh.  We could even meet somewhere for lunch. 

Do you like Olive Garden, 99, TGIFridays, Longhorn???  All of those are very close to the mall.  Or we could go to the mall...

Any one of those would be great.....I think that would be better than the mall.  I think out of all I like 99 and TGIF the best.
