New Week - Same Plan
Mornin' all -
I thought we were going to have a lot of posters participating in the "daily plan" posts, but a lot of you seem to have disappeared. So it's a new week. Why not join Martha and me. It helps so much to be accountable. And even if you don't end up doing all that you plan, we won't beat you up, only build you up, buttercup So come on and join us on this thread. The more participants, the more everyone gets a boost.
So I had a great week last week, except for last night. I was able to keep to my plan pretty well every day, and I got in all the exercise I planned on doing too. Last night, however, hubby made popcorn. We didn't have dinner, so that was it, and I sure ate a lot of it - oooh it's one of my favorite things. So I sat down with the bowl and made the conscious decision to not worry about it. Of course, today I feel a little bad about how much I ate, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it. I ate it. I enjoyed every bite (and I definitely practiced mindful eating). I knew what I was doing. I didn't do it to "reward" myself for anything. I just did it. Time to move on.
So today the plan is:
Breakfast - Shake
Snack - yogurt with blueberries, granola & flax seed
Lunch - chicken salad with homemade chicken soup with carrots & quinoa
Snack - applie
Dinner - chicken sausage with rice and veggies
Snack - chocolate square
Water - still trying to hit the 64 oz. mark
walk or gym at lunch time
write it all down in Fitday

so i am not going to dwell on the negitive and today is a new week!!!

dinner is up in the air (i have a dr. app at 4:40 then group at 6:30 so no time to go home)
i went to the gym before work and i might go for a walk during my down time tonught..

I am so proud of both of you for not dwelling and looking at the positive side. I did really well this weekend, although struggled a bit with water. But today....ugh. I didn't go to work today, but had a very stressful morning....I kind of ate my way through it...those ugly bad habits again. But since then, I have been good. So, obviously no plan today, but there will be one tomorrow for sure.
I am also not stressed about the holiday. It is actually going to be a pretty nice day. My daughter is working, so we will not eat dinner until later. My son, son-in-law and grandson are coming over to help decorate the yard. I will also decorate inside this year.
So I will post my plan tomorrow. It will be a brand new day.

Thank you for your post Kath! You helped reel me back in :) I had a busy week.. Visited my folks in Maine and then my Mother in law was here for a visit (Alot of eating out). I got off track a bit. Exercise suffered and I didn't keep track of my food. Not a good habit to start I know. I felt scared for not tracking, really strange, kind of like I was out of control even though upon refection I don't think I was. I guess it just goes to show that I really need that accountability (the scale will tell me for sure tomorrow).. Anyway, it's time to regroup and master my plan..
