Back Pain

Has anyone experienced back pain after surgery?  I am 3 weeks out, doing great, but the past two weeks my back is killing me.  It is my whole upper back, it feels like it is muscular.  I have never had pain like this!  By noon everyday, my back is killing me.  I know I should call the doctors, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them.

I had the same thing happen about 3 weeks out. I'm 5 weeks out now and feel much better. It resolved after about a week or so. It moved from my lower to upper back. Hope you feel better.

Check your posture.  I know that as I lost my weight, I tended to slump more.  They say it's because our "center" is changing.  You have to stand and walk like you're a puppet on a string that is coming right out of the top of your head:  Keep your head and shoulders straight and your chest out.  At first it feels really weird, but if you check it out in the mirror, you'll find that you actually look right!
