I haven't been on OH in a while.  I am currently in school and  I am writing a research paper on Lap Band surgery.  I would appriciate your help if you could take a few minutes to answer my questions.  You could either PM them or email them to me.. [email protected]

1. What made you decide to have Bariatric Surgery?
2. How did  you know it was right for you?
3. Did someone mention it to you? or did you do this on your own?  Did you do your own research?
4. Why did you choose Lap Band over Gastric Bypass?
5. How many times did you have to appeal the insurance decision? if any?
6. What were the pre-requistes that you had to meet before the surgery? ie. any weight loss, support group meetings, and behavioral classes?
7. Finally - How far out are you since the surgery?  Have you met your goal? (how long did it take?)  And if you had a second chance - would you do it again?
