Today's Plan
Well, I was pretty successful yesterday. I pretty much stayed with my plan, except for lunch. My soup was not so good anymore (ooops), and when I went to Wendy's they were closed, so no chili. I was less than pleased. So I ended up going to Quiznos and getting a small sub, which I only ate the filling, and no bread. Dinner was chicken, baked fries and carrots. I went to the gym last night and did both cardio and weights. I am finding that it is not so hard anymore going to the gym. I am starting to enjoy it again.
So my plan for today:
Breakfast: Greek Yogurt and peanut butter granola
Lunch: Chicken and small salad
Dinner: home made calzones....YUM
I have an apple, and an orange at work, so those will be my snacks along with some cheese.
I am walking at noon time, it is going to be too nice out not to.
I got 64 + ounces of water in yesterday, so I feel really good about that.

Hey Martha -
You did GREAT about your lunch yesterday -- the fact that something out of your control stopped you from eating what you planned, and you still made good choices is something to be really proud of.
I had a good day yesterday too. Instead of the apple I thought I might have, I had an ounce of almonds, and I also had 4 oz of OJ, which was not on the plan, but I was thirsty and didn't feel like having any more water.
Today's plan -
breakfast - shake
snack - cottage cheese and a slice of cinnamon raisin toast
lunch - chicken, broccoli and rice pilaf
snack - apple
dinner - I think more leftover chicken (but I love chicken and could eat it everyday!)
snack - my square of chocolate
Walk at lunch
water
Fitday
I'm still afraid to get on the scale - what's wrong with me???? I used to get on everyday, now I try to avoid it at all costs. Can't I find some middle ground here ?!?!?!?

"I am not the skin I'm in, but the soul within."
thanks Kathy, you know I never really gave that a thought, but boy could I have gone the other way so easily. I never really gave it a thought though, I wanted to stick with what I am doing, and a lot of that has to do with being accountable.
You are not the only one afraid to get on the scale. I can feel it in my clothes that I have lost, if not weight but inches. I think it is because I don't want to sabotage myself by getting on the scale, and seeing a gain. I think that would be such a step backwards. We are so focused on the scale, and a number. I feel really good, and I know that comes from eating well, drinking my water, getting my protein in, and exercising. I do see Nancy and Dr. Gens tomorrow, so I won't have a choice!!
