My plan for today
Hi, I know, I did not post the last few days. Friday, just a bad day at work, totally swamped. Saturday and Sunday we went to camp. I did pretty good this weekend, and was rewarded with a gain. But I am not worried at this point. My body is probably wondering what the heck is going on!!
So my plan for today.
Breakfast: greek yogurt and peanut butter granola
Snack: apples and PB2
Lunch: Turkey stew and small corn bread.
Snack: cheese and banana (small)
Dinner: not quite sure yet. I think Gary will need to cook tonight, but not sure.
I plan on going to the gym tonight. I want to keep up the weights.
I also have to drink at least 32 ounces of water this morning, and 32 ounces this afternoon...got to wash all that bad stuff out from this weekend.

Hi Martha, I'm back! I didn't do very well last week, although I certainly could have done worse than I did. I'm down 2 pounds since we started posting and planning. I have to say that there is a direct correlation between eating right and writing it down. If I know I have to record it, I am VERY conscious about what goes in my mouth. As soon as I know that I won't be able to put the food in Fitday, I am much less careful about it. And that's what happened last week. Between being in Boston and at the lake, I had some not-so-good moments. Oh well, pick myself up, dust myself off, and get going back on the right track!
My plan for today:

snack: 1/4 c. granola with yogurt & blueberries and slice of cinnamon raisin toast with 1 tsp. Smart Balance margarine (I shouldn't have had the granola, but I did, so I'll cancel out the carb at lunch)
lunch: chicken with broccoli and turnip
dinner: pork chop with brussels sprouts (I think) and probably a small potato. Not sure about dinner - Jim is cooking, but I think that's what we'll end up with.
evening snack - square of dark chocolate
I also may eat an apple along the way.
I'm already committed to a walk at lunch time with my friends.
