Hi all, I'm new. I actually registered awhile ago, but haven't really been by the site. I live in Grantham, NH and am going in for the gastric by-pass at DHMC on Nov 9th. I look forward to meeting everyone!

Not sure how to post on here. I saw you at the last support group meeting, you were great! had my first meeting today with Nancy, I am a nervous wreck already! This site has been so helpful and full of information! I will have MANY questions along my but I feel good that I have started this journey, even if I am scared spitless!!  ~Cindy~

Hi Cindy....first don't be scared.  This is the most wonderful decision you can make.  It has changed so many of our lives.  We are all here, very real, have real struggles and triumphs.  One thing I have learned, is you are never alone on this journey.  Ask as many questions as you need, want, desire.  We will all chime in with our thoughts, feelings, realities, and many other things. 

You have made the first step in living the rest of your life.  Congratulations!!!
