we are so lucky

My bypass surgery was October 07 2008 and I saw Dr. Gens and Nancy this morning for my 1 year check.  So much has changed for me in this past year.. I am off all Insulin and other diabetic medicines, off blood pressure pills and off my CPAP machine and am enjoying good health for the first time in many years.  I was thinking on the way home from my appt. about how lucky we all are to have such fine professionals to help us on this journey.  Yes, we are responsible for our own success but without  the help of the wonderful team of professionals where would we be? Also we are so lucky to have such a strong support group on this site and at the support meetings. Thanks to all of you for helping me in so many ways this past year.
