I just wanted everyone here to know that Rosemary completed her FIRST 5k road race on Sunday with an incredible time of 34:31.  WAY TO GO.  It is amazing what you can accomplish when you have the right tools.  For those just beginning their journey, or thinking about beginning the journey, just know that you can do ANYTHING YOU SET YOUR MIND TO DO.

Kudos to you, Rosemary!  What a great accomplishment for you - how are you feeling today?  I'll bet you're pretty pumped and so you should be!

What a wonderful accomplishment! Besides skiing down a real mountain more than 2x in a day without being exhausted and in joint pain, I have a closet desire to play basketball on a women's league. My sons play and I enjoy watching but I'd like to play again as well. It is yet another goal. :) Suzette

Hi Suzette,

You will make your goals.....believe.  I am now skiing, playing dodgeball, and running on the beach with my grandson.

Thank you everyone :) I have to say it was the most incredible feeling!! I had never told anyone that running was something I had always wanted to try and when I finally got up enough courage to try it and tell my family it became my biggest goal. They were all there to cheer me on - with signs and everything :) I actually ran with my boss who helped me so much -training and then during the race. He stayed with me the whole way. I have been so blessed during my journey. I believe with all my heart that this surgery saved my life and I will be forever grateful.
Remember you can reach your goals - you can fulfill your wildest dreams- you have to commit and never give up!!
