October Exercise Challenge
Hi all, well we have two choices. You can add the last few days of September, and the first few of October and make it the first week of October, or the last week of September. Just let me know what you want to do. Also don't forget to set your goal for October.
So this last week was hectic for me, and I did not get in as much as I wanted. Walked and walked at the Deerfield Fair yesterday, and only had a small amount of food...for what was there. I was amazed by all of the fat, calories and just unhealthy eating that I saw. I never really saw it before. I had to have apple crisp though....it was delicious. I am starting right in with October, and setting my goal at 1000. A bit steep for me, but I want to acheive it this month. Albeit a little slow, but I did get in about 200 minutes in all last week.

I can't really set a goal yet for October - still not feeling very well and certainly not moving well either. Today was my first day back at work after 3 weeks, and I'm exhausted. Worked through lunch so that I could leave an hour early. Can't wait to sit on my sofa sideways ~ Sitting squarely in a chair is still painful, so I sit on my hip with my feet out to the side. That's the only way I'm really comfortable.
Lisa - is DHMC's support group meeting tomorrow night? I'd like to try and go.

Well that really stinks that you're not feeling better yet and you have to alter your sitting to make it comfortable for you. Lots of healing vibes coming your way!
The DHMC meeting is tomorrow 5-6. I am planning on going. It would be great if you can go (and if you feel up to it.) We won't care how you sit in your chair....lol!

Hey Kathy - so good to hear from you. I'm sorry you are having a difficult time. I hope you feel better soon. Just think you are DONE!!!

I'll set my goal at 1100 again for October. Last week I did 200 minutes. I'm surprised the meeting is next Monday night. I'm not sure if I will want to fight the traffic heading south on 16. It's usually a very busy day - all the boats and campers calling it a season.
My race is next Sunday and I'm very excited for it. Wish me luck!!

Hi Kathy, I am so sorry to hear you are still not doing well. Hopefully you will be doing much better very soon. I will keep you in my thoughts. I have not been on the boards lately, and I miss everyone too. I also want to try and plan a get together again, for anyone interested. We had so much fun just hanging out!!
