My Port

I have not posted for a while as I was struggling with my weight loss and getting nowhere. I recently went to get a fill. They added 1 cc for a total of 5cc' in a 10cc band. I have to say that I am finally feeling some kind of restriction and my hunger has subsided.

However I am feeling a little pain in my port and I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for me on this. Thanks

I have never had any pain with a fill before, but it may just be discomfort from the injection.  Is the site red?  I would check with your doctor if it lasts more than a day or two more.  You do have to keep in mind that the band is an ever changing, ever evolving experience.  I am over a year out, and have basically only lost about 10 pounds since December, but I am still loosing slowly.  It took me almost 9 months to get a fill that made me feel a little bit restricted.  This is not like RNY, in that it is all set upon surgery.  Be patient, and it will happen.  Just keep going.
