Kathy, how are you doing?
Hi everyone. Well, my last round of plastics is behind me, and I passed my second anniversary for the RNY on the 17th. I wish I could say all is well. It is for the most part, but the incisions on my inner thighs have opened up. All I can do is keep gauze over them, but they're just in a really bad place. Things are pulled tight so bathroom visits are an issue (my aim is all off ) I thought I'd be better to go back to work by next Monday, but now I'm not sure. It hurts when I sit, I can't exercise, so now my back is killing me. I guess I'm kind of in the dumps right now. These are issues I knew I might face, but I guess I didn't think I'd have any problems. I know that when everything heals, I'll be very happy with the results. I just can't see past the problems right now. As far as the breast augmentation goes, I'm very happy with the results so far. Everything is still swollen, but I can see that they will look very nice - normal, not too big, which is what I was going for. At least they don't hurt too much. I can say for sure that after gastric bypass, lower body lift, arm lift, breast augmentation and inner thigh lift, it's the inner thigh lift that is hands down the most painful of all the procedures. I don't regret having it done, but I just want to be over this hump.
Sorry to be such a Debbie Downer. I'm trying to keep it positive . . .

Hi Kathy and thanks for the update. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time. At least you are done with surgery. Once you are over this painful hump you will be so happy and transformed into who you want to be.
I'm not far from you, so if you need anything, let me know. I'm available to go to lunch/coffee too! Let me know if you need anything.
Lisa
