OT 9-11
May we all remember in our own little way. May we all find peace today. I know the pictures are on the news, the memory for me is just like it was eight years ago. I had family at the Pentagon and thank God she was on the other side of the building, but the not knowing for almost 5 hours was very tough. I just wanted to say a prayer for those we lost, those who it has touched, and the rest of us for there was nothing we could do. If you are trying to do something to remember all that were lost, and you are not sure what to do the best thing for me was to donate blood. It is something most of us can do, it helps so many and it costs us nothing. I had to do something 8 years ago and it felt like I was helping.
Thanks for letting me ramble on this 8th anniversary.
May God protect you and all of your loved ones and may we never have to go through this again.

Amen. Of all the images, horrible and distressing, I'll never forget the expressions of my sons, at the time ages 10, 8 and 5, and other children, as they stood in the dentists office waiting area watching the images being replayed in the afternoon on tv. Innocence was shattered and for them, the world would never, ever be the same.
