Welcome, this is an awesome sight. I've gotten so much support here and even found myself a walking partner from this site.
Who are you going through for your procedure. I know DHMC and CMC have different programs. I used the DHMC program and loved every bit of it.

Thanks to you all! I am excited and am looking forward to finally being healthy and forever not just for a few months! I am just a little worried my insurance compnay is not going to make this easy for me they say they cover it as long as I meet all criteria which i do but they won't documented proof of trying to lose weight for a year and believe me i have tried to lose weight for the last 20 years! but is all of it documented i don't know I guess i might be worrying for nothing but I have heard alot of horror stories about insurances who say they will cover and then always deny...any thoughts or advice? I have health plans with Harvard pilgrim health a ppo! Oh and my doctor is the one *****ferred me to the bariatric program at Portsmouth regional... so that should be a plus!

Hi Rose,

Welcome . You are in the right place that's for sure. Really nothing is off limits so if you are wondering about anything just ask - someone probably has experienced it and we are all willing to share. Good luck to you!

Welcome Rose!! This website has been extremely helpful to me...what to expect, is this or that normal, what's okay and what's not...etc. A lot of moral support too. Best wishes on your journey!
