After first fill

Hi everyone,
Well the anticipated nerves of the first fill are gone, and unfortunately so is the "full" feeling.  I'm not losing like I was and it has been only three weeks.  It just isn't making me feel "full"  like it was.  Have lost 35 pounds since the surgery, but just doesn't seem like I am losing any more.    Should I wait till the next fill?  Not for another three weeks.   AArrrgghhh.

Hi Cathy,

This is just your first fill.  My full feeling for most of my fills generally lasted only three to four weeks.  My last fill actually lasted about 3 months, so I am getting close.  I have had about 3 weeks of not feeling full, although I still have to be very careful what and how I eat as I learned last night.  I am also very hungry again.  I am calling today to try and get an appointment.  Patience is a virtue with this surgery.  Don't expect miracles right away.  It is a learning and evolving process.  Thirty five pounds since surgery is absolutely fantastic.  I have lost a total of 46 in a year since my surgery.  Please don't look at the number, although I know...it is hard.  I am just thankful I have not gained back what I have lost, and I feel that my tool is working like a charm in that aspect.

Hang in there.
