Carbs - Migraines?
OK I hope I can explain this well enough for someone to have a clue what I am talking about.
I am pre-surgery, but have been following this eating change since January (before hubby had his surgery) and I now need to lose 12 lbs before I can have surgery scheduled. So I have been limiting carbs big time and keeping the sugar low, lots of water no soda, and mostly protein based snacks. Until yesterday I feel off the wagon big time, someone at work gave me a box & a half of Peperidge Farm soft oatmeal raisin 100 calorie pack cookies. I checked the sugar and it was 7g so I decided ok they will be a nice snack once and a while. Well there are only 3 packs left out of 8 not good. For lunch I had a burger on a white roll (it was a work cook out) with pretzels not a good choice either.
So today I woke up with migraine, I am wondering if anyone else has had this happen after eating something they haven't had in a while.
Ok thanks for letting me ramble on. I hope I wasn't too confusing.

I am a HUGE migrane person. I find they are often triggered by things I eat, especialy processed foods. For the most part I try to stay away from packaged foods and make my own for this reason. This started years ago when I went on Atkins, now I know that hard core atkins isn't good for you either (hind sight is 20/20), and have continued to stay away from the prepared foods and done pretty well with the headaches. So YES the carb shock could have totaly done it.
