Update
Hi everyone,
First I want to say thanks to everyone and their words of encouragement and offers of help. It is nice to know that all of you are out there to support each other. I have never really had that before, and it means a great deal.
Although I am still out of work, I am able to work from home with LogMeIn program, which is similar to PC Anywhere. It lets me log into my computer at work, just like I was sitting at my desk. My boss is good with this, and we communicate through email and such. I have also been able to finally sit and work for more than a few minutes at a time. I will have to return to work next week though, as my co-worker is on vacation. I think my hubby will drive me in...at 6:00 am!! and then pick me up after he gets out at 5:00. It will make for a long day, but that is okay.
The dizziness is still here, but so much less. I am able to walk without grabbing on to everything and anything, and I am more stable on my feet. Driving is still an issue, as is riding. Feels like I am on an amusement ride!! Have been forcing myself to ride though, to try and get my body used to it. My vision is returning to normal...I am only seeing double every now and then. I am going to try and take a walk this afternoon, but bringing my cell phone with me, just in case.
No vertigo is nice. Just minor spinning now. I have not had any vertigo for over a week now...so maybe it did work after all. I have found a meniere's board, and they say that the sicker you are after the shot the more it works! So maybe I got lucky, and it will work for me the first time through.
My hubby has been fantastic through all of this. So supportive. I am really lucky to have him, and I appreciate him more and more with everything I have gone through in the last couple of years. I also think that I have been able to bury some very bad habits that I have struggled with over the years. In the week and a half I have been home, I have lost 3.5 pounds. This is with no exercise, just being very careful what I am eating. Normally, I would have gotten very depressed, and eaten everything in the house. I can't believe how far I have come since my surgery. I thank everyone for giving me the support, kindness, and belief that I can do this.

Hi Martha,
It's so nice to hear you are feeling better. Good luck with returning to work. Those seem like long days for starting back after being out though. Take some well needed breaks for yourself, ok?
Also, great job on the weight loss. It's such a learning process, huh?
I really hope the surgery is a success for you and you feel 100% better soon. Don't overdo it. Best of luck for a continued recovery!

I know it will make for long days, but I am going to bring a fold up chair, and go out at lunch time, and sit and rest. I just need to give my eyes a break from reading and focusing, because that is the most trouble I am having now, which is not bad.
Thanks so much Lisa. I really appreciate our friendship. I am so glad I have met you and everyone else.
