Adult Unintentional Poisoning

1. FDA Warns Not to Consume Two Liquid "Energy" Products: New Whey liquid products and Hardcore Energize Bullet liquid products.  These products are sold in vials looking similar to test tubes and are being recalled due to suspected tampering.  A utility knife blade was discovered in one of each of the products. Child Unintentional Poisoning

1. Nine Companies Penalized for Selling Children's Products that Violated the Federal Lead Paint Ban, news from the Consumer Product Safety Commission.  Nine children's product manufacturers, importers and sellers have agreed to pay more than $500,000 in civil penalties for violating the federal lead paint ban.  One company test revealed that the surface coatings were 60% lead.  For a list of companies and product information please go to:
