I'm wondering what others here think of the OH magazine before I take the leap and subscribe.

I'm looking for some good recipe ideas for the future and such and I'm not sure where to look for all of that.

Any great books or recipe books out there that can be recommended?

I would look up the world according to eggface before you subscribe just for the recipes. She has quite a few.  I normally adapt them for my family but the ideas are great.

Hope all works out for you.

I've actually have that site as a favorite on the web... I'll look into it more and save the $20.  Thanks so much.

OH magazine is okay, but not worth the money.  It's a lot of fluff.  I imagine that someday it could be good, but I'd save your money for the time being.

I subscribed to the magazine and will not renew it. Not worth it at all -- lots of ads for surgeons and not a whole lot of substance in the two issues I have received so far.

The world according to eggface is very good. If you are looking for a cookbook, I have Eating Well after Weight Loss Surgery and it is pretty good. Honestly any "diet" cookbook that emphasises high protein low carb low fat should be fine for you. South Beach, WW, etc.

Good luck!!
