Skin removal - plastic surgeon recommendations ?

Hi

Been 5 yrs =since my gastric bypass and life is great - play lots of tennis workout everyday but my dr says the only thing that we get rid of this skin is surgery. Can anyone recommend a plastic surgeon ? What are the costs ?

Here is a name of a plastic surgeon.  She is the wife of a co-worker of my husband.  I plan on calling her soon for a consult.

I have a friend that is going to the shrine burn center in boston for possibly getting it done for nothing. They are looking for people to donate thier skin. look into it.

I called the Shriners Burn center in Boston and was told that they no longer use donors for skin but instead grow it. if you could give me a contact to call I'd really appreciate it

I had a lower body lift and brachiaplasty on 3/23 with Dr. Christopher Davidson, who operates out of his own office in Wellesley and also at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.  I am absolutely thrilled with the results.  I saw him this past Wednesday for my final round of plastics - inner thighs and breast augmentation to be done on 8/18.  I can't really tell you how much it will cost for your procedures because I don't know exactly what the doc will recommend be done.  My suggestion is that you get have least two or three different consultations.  They'll give you the prices at that time.  Then make your decision as to what you'd want to do and who you'd want to do it.  I might also suggest that you make Dr. Davidson one of your consults.  He really is great.  His number is 781-237-7700.  His assistant's name is Pam, and she's really great too.  Good luck!
