Have Fun Kathy
Hi everyone. Thanks for the well wishes. Everything was so beautiful. The weather was perfect. Heidi, who is always beautiful, looked like a princess. We had a few glitches, but nothing that interrupted the flow of things. My husband got ready at Bruce and Heidi's house (Heidi got ready at our house, and the guys got ready over at their house). He took the wrong garment bag with him, so we had to rush the tux over there at the last minute. Then the best man forgot the rings, and his wife had to rush back there to get them while the wedding was taking place. She literally got back to the church 10 seconds before the priest was ready to bless them. The violinist, who did a spectacular job, forgot her sheet music and had to go back home to get it. Then the priest never showed at the reception because of a migraine, only he didn't tell anyone that he wasn't going, so we didn't know what happened to him until the next day! They had 2 photographers. One of them took 1800 pictures alone, and I don't know how many the other took. Some of them are on facebook, but not my account. There's a website that Heidi set up where they'll all be posted. I'll let you know when they're out there to view. The reception was a blast. Everyone danced all night and had a great time. I'm still savoring the moment - and it was just a moment. All those months of preparation, and the whole evening was over in a flash! I didn't want it to end. Two of my husband's cousins are still with us. On Monday, we went to Newport to see the mansions. Yesterday, we went to the Adams historical site in Quincy, Mass. Today, they're walking the Freedom Trail, but I had to work. They're leaving tomorrow morning. We still have Ozzy, Heidi's & Bruce's black lab, until Tuesday next week. I'm so tired, but feeling good at the same time!
