So how did everyone do this week?  I am so proud.  I kayaked just about all weekend.  It was a blast.  Went up the Pine River in Ossipee to Lake Ossipee.  Crossing the lake was a little scary, but fun.  Had to fight the current going back up the river.  My daughter and I even kayaked for a couple of hours on Friday.  Just a little too cold to go skiing....water temp was 61 degrees!!!  So I am going to say 285 minutes total between the gym and kayaking.

Hi Martha!  Sounds like you had a great weekend full of fun and exercise!  Awesome job!

Despite my bad mood and skipping Jazz. last Monday, I ended up doing really good last week with my exercise.  I did 2 J classes on Wed. and walked both Sat. & Sun.  I normally do no exercise on weekends.  So, my total for last week was 338 minutes.

I'm def. going to the DHMC support group meeting tomorrow at 5:00.  My son has a baseball game at 6:00, but my husband is on vacation and will take him and I will go after the meeting.  I have missed 2 in a row and I'm looking forward to going.  Anyone else?

Have a great day!

Well, I think the bad weather finally got to me.  I only walked for a half hour on Monday last week.  So that's it, Martha - 30 minutes  :(  Pretty pitiful!  But today, I want to get right back on track, so I got up earlier and did my medicine ball workout.  At lunch, I'm going to walk for an hour - it's beautiful out there.

Lisa, I may be able to make the meeting tomorrow night, but I'm not sure.  My daughter and future son in law may be coming for dinner so that we can finalize the seating arrangements for the wedding, which is less than 2 weeks away!  I won't know until tomorrow if they're coming or not.  If they don't, I'll be at the meeting, but if they do come over, I'll have to skip it.

Oh Kathy I feel for you - the dreaded seating arrangement! I bet your dress looks amazing..make sure you post some pictures!

Ok on to the question - I did 230 minutes last week. I didn't miss a day but time was an issue so some of my workouts were shorter. But today I got in my full hour!!.

I'm glad you are enjoying your kayak Martha!

Good for you and the Kayak Martha!! What a fun way to get in some exercise.
I got 250 for last week. While I was at my brother's for the 4th I swam laps in his pool and got a great workout that way. So nice to have some sun! (never mind tomorrows forcast).

That's awesome Martha!  Kayaking sounds so fun...I want to get a sit-on-top kayak this year.  I figure that way if I flip it over, it'll be easy to get back on! lol

As for exercise, last week I got in 120 minutes.

I'd really love it if we'd get more than just 2 days of sun at a time...gotta love New England weather!

I know, that is the only bad thing about the kayaks.  If you flip them, you are sunk...literally!!

Great job on the exercise....and we are supposed to get sun for 3 days!!!

Hi Martha,

Late post for me!  I got 120 in for week one.  Week 2 isn't so great so far, been soooo busy.  But i got Wii fit for my birthday and i'm gonna try it this week.  Kayaking sounded fun...something i've never tried because of my weight.  The things we can do now...isn't it great?  Hopefully i will have a bigger number to post for week 2!

I am having brain rot from the rain, I went to see what my goal was and realized I never posted for what I actually did.  I had 120 for last week.  I am parking farther from the door when it is not down pooring,  (not often enough) but the sun is out and I am on my way out for  my walk for lunch.  TTFN
Have a great day and tomorrow is going to be great !
