Any suggestions for what to have now for meals?  I am really getting fed up of the protein shakes, need ideas for the pureed as well.  Not sure if I am having hunger pains or still remaining gas pains.

You are probably still having gas pains.  I had them for a good 2 to 3 weeks.  As for meals, you really need to stay on the protein shakes for a while, but I love greek yogurt.  You can get the flavored ones, or the plain.  when I get the plain, I usually sweeten it with spenda or any other sweetener, and a little bit of vanilla extract.  Sugar Free puddings are good, cottage cheese, eggs (scrambled)  things like that.  Just don't rush into eating solid foods.  Give yourself time to heal and learn to eat slowly.

Welcome to the other side!!!  You will love it here.

You will get sick or protein shakes.  It is that plain and simple.  But, you have to stick with it.  At this point it is protein shakes, pudding, yogurt (be careful about the calories), pops, and eggs.  It sucks but it will get better soon.
