looking for someone in Manchester NH to connect with

I'm new to this website and last week got my approval for the lap band procedure and it's scheduled for 7/20, 5 weeks to go. I'm looking for someone in the Manchester area that may have had the lap band as well and would consider a weight loss support partner.

If the weather cooperates perhaps we can meet at Livingston Park this weekend
and walk around the pond a few times.  

I'm a slow loser, but that's alright.  I've lost 65 lbs and have 50 more to go.

I don't know where liningston park is. My husbands daughter w/b taking him out for breakfast on Sunday, so sunday morning works best for me. If you tell me where the park is I could probably meet you there for a morning walk. How long ago did you have your surgery?

I haven't had my surgery yet - but I hope to in the fall.  Going through all my appointments.  I am in Manchester though!!  I am also seeking a support group/system.

Dr. Gould is also my physician. I just love that office and how supportive they are. I live on the west side and am 4 weeks away from my surgery and 2 weeks away from the liquid diet. Ugh, so I am enjoying my favorite foods now before they have to stop. I was looking for some locals here to possibly get support, ask questions and maybe go walking with once the surgery is over. Let me know if you want to get together some time and go walking.
