1 Year Ago Today I.....

Changed my life!!! Yes I can't believe it but it's been 1 year since my surgury. I still can't believe all they ways that my life has improved. I've lost 179 lbs - reached my goal actually 2 lbs below. I knew my health would improve - I knew that I would feel and look better. What I didn't know was that I would begin to value me. I have learned how to take care of myself. I make sure I have the right food choices available, that I make time to exercise, that I get my nails done if I want. Another very nice surprise is all of you. I had no idea that I wolud be finding new friends. What a bonus!!

Congratulations Rosemary!

Oh Rosemary.  We are all so proud of you.  I cannot believe the transformation I saw from August on.  Amazing.  You look terrific, but most of all you look HAPPY. 

I also value and will hold tight the friendship I have found here.  For the first time in a very long time, I feel like I belong, and that I am liked for who I am.  Everyone here has made that possible.  I am proud to call you friend, Rosemary, and I cannot imagine my life without you and everyone else. 

CONGRATULATIONS.  It is well deserved.

First of all, happy surgiversary!  You look great. 

And you're right.  Who knew that we would make such wonderful and valued friendships when we started this journey?  I know that before I had mine, I felt very alone in my body.  Now we are all friends with such a great accomplishment in common.  We are so fortunate to have each other!
