what to pack?

Ok so here it is the day before Hubby's surgery and it just dawned on me that he should pack a few things to take with him to the hospital tomorrow. I have the normal change of undies and socks, toothbrush and mouthwash, I remember someone saying chapstick, but what am I forgetting? Any input would be great. Thanks all and i will let you know how it goes as soon as I can.

Definately chapstick.  Maybe a book, magazine, mp3 player, and anything else to make his stay easier.  Slippers!!  Robe. 

Anyone else to add to the list.

Definitely mp3/ipod if you have one; helps you relax and sleep without hearing the hustle and bustle of the hospital. Other than that, do not overpack. I also liked having tshirt and shorts so I could walk the halls without flashing the world ;)

Ok Thanks. I think I have him packed, we just got home from the Portland Seadogs game. SO he is in the shower and I am putting the final touches on everything for tomorrow.
