Since my fill
First I want to thank everyone for their support during a very difficult time for me. I loved Shirley like a mom, and just the suddeness of her accident shook me to my very core. It is so true to live each day like it is your last.
I had my fill last Thursday, and I am down 5 pounds already. I feel so much better about me again. I just need to pay attention and not let it get out of hand again.
Thanks again everyone. You all are the best.

I'm so happy for you that you are already seeing the results from your fill. I'll bet that you are having more help from above now that Shirley is "up there" rooting for you too! Keep up the good work.
And as far as thanking everyone for supporting you, I just want to say that it's YOU who are SO supportive of everyone on this board, it's the least we can do for you!
Have a great day, Martha.

Martha - First of all - congrats on losing 5 lbs...very proud. I tend to be a "lurker" and don't often write on here, but always love to hear your posts and Shirley's too. I don't know what happen to Shirley. I respect if you don't want to say, but just wanted to know out of concern and care. I went to my first PRH post meeting this month and plan on going to future ones, so I can truly get to know you all in person. Take Care - Teresa
Hi Teresa,
Thank you for your kind words. The Shirley I refer to is a good friend of my husband and mine, not the Shirley that posts here. Shirley and her husband, Ray, ran a small motel and store in Colebrook NH where we snowmobile every winter. It became a standing "reservation" for us to go there and stay the weekend and snowmobile. Many times we went over to the house for dinner when the restaurant closed. We spent many a nights talking and laughing over a glass of wine, or two or three. She was an amazing woman. She went to visit a friend and was rushing to go to the bathroom..something everyone does all the time, she slipped on a rug and fell down the cellar stairs. I have been told she died before she reached the bottom. She was more than just a friend, she was my "Ma", especially after my mom died. She watched out for us, and now she will continue, but in a different role.
It does help to talk and I appreciate everyone listening...even if I do ramble.
Please definately keep coming to the meetings. I really enjoy meeting and talking with everyone. I always introduce myself as Martha and Bamma. I am proud to be both! :-)
