I have the band and I was wondering what things people can eat and are ok with.....jsut looking for some more dinner ideas......
Hi Haileysmum
At that point, you will be able to eat just about anything. Please though, don't be disappointed if you do not get to your goal by then. We banders lose weight at a much slower pace. You are doing absolutely awesome though.
I usually have greek yogurt with 1/4 cup almonds and 1/4 cup dried fruit for breakfast, or a protein shake. For lunch it is usually some kind of protein, chicken salad, lunch meat, leftovers from the night before, wendy's chili. Dinner is whatever my husband cooks!! I can tolerate most things, but rice is not great, and bread is not great either. I can eat pita or wraps, but regular bread is hard. I have no problem with meats at all. I love the greek yogurt, sugar free puddings, laughing cow cheese on kashi crackers. I don't really eat salad anymore, because I am just trying to get protein in.
Edemame is good to add to chili, soups, stews. It is really high in protein. I know I am rambling, but if you need further recipes let me know.
