Last summer, a friend/co-worker gave me a bunch of clothes.  Some of them were a little tight, but I lost some more weight over the winter and was looking forward to wearing them this coming summer.  She has beautiful clothes.  Anyway, most of them are now too big!  I'm a little disappointed that I can't wear some of these gorgeous outfits, but then I think about my weight loss, and I'm over it really quickly!

I pulled out a bathing suit that I could not get into last summer, and it fits.....

but I did find out that all my sandles are way too big, and my shorts.  So I guess goodwill will be my next stop after the shoe department.

I had to prety much buy an entire summer/spring wardrobe.  I bought enough to get me through the summer (I hope.)  I also bought new workout clothes.

I'm having the opposite problem.  Last year at this time, I knew I would be having my surgery, so I got rid of everything back then, since I was absolutely certain that nothing would still fit.

And now, sadly, I am pretty much atthe same size, and have no clothes to wear!  I am hoping to drop a few pounds before I absolutely HAVE to go buy summer clothes, so hopefully I will be able to buy them in a smaller size than the stuff I got rid of last year!

I had no wardrobe , I buy now only from Salavation Army or Goodwill, except of course underthings or if I need something for a special occasion and I can not find it at a thrift store.  I have changed sizes in 1 week and I will not pay full price anymore.        I shop regularly and look for name brands, I won`t buy a 5.00 used Walmart top when I could prob add a few more bucks and get it brand new but i will pay 5 dollars for a name brand that I would have to add 20 more to buy it brand new.                I love my wardrobe .

Just wished I loved myself these days.

Just wanted to say I feel for ya...I had my surgery 3/24/08 and am only down about 25 pounds from my starting weight.  I am down to an 18 from a 20/22, but my 18s are getting a lil snug.  (Trying like hell to get back on track though.)
I've picked up a few things...either on clearance @ Wal Mart or at thrift shops.  Nothing much though, just a few tops and some work pants.
Anyhow, that's my 2 cents worth.
Hope we both get to the place where we NEED new SMALLER clothes soon.
Take care and stay cool in this hot weather (dare we think SUMMER???lol)

I have next to nothing that fits...definately need to do some shopping for the spring/summer...i've bought a few things here and there...and think probably for the summer i will be in a 12...i'm hovering between a 12 and 14 depending on style/brand...to think i was a 24 8 1/2 months ago!  WOW!

Tonight i bought some new scrubs...i've been told mine look like clown pants...and that i needed to get some new ones (and those are the smaller ones I bought in the middle of the winter)  So i did, and I tried on a MED pants, and LG shirt...and they fit...not the unisize ones either.  I was so happy!  I was in 3x shirts and 2x pants before surgery.

I was laughing the other day as i was thinking how i grew up being told i was "big boned" or a "big girl...but not fat"  Well, as i was looking...my shoulders aren't as wide as i thought...i'm truly not that big boned!  Who would know how much fat could be on your shoulders huh?  I filled my head with that misconseption for years!

Enough of my blabbing on...long answer for a simple question huh!  lol

Have a good night everyone!
