Does any other RNY'er feel this?

ok thank you. This appt I have is at the elliott just before my surgery. I'm scared about weighing this time. I have been bad the past week or so.

Good luck.  I'm sure if you gained a little, you'll be ok.  A lot.....I bet you get a stern talking to. 

You'll def. lose a lot of weight on the pre-op diet.  Don't cheat.  It will benefit you in the end. 

Thats good advice. as I was reading this i got a call from dartmouth saying my sugery was approved lol. I called my insurance tuesday to nosey about ti and they already told me.

Congrats!  Dr. Gould is very nice.  I'll be seeing him in Aug. for the first time since my surgery.  Good luck with your surgery.  Come back to let us know how everything went.

Lisa....YUP...i get that...more so when i eat things like salads, or dense meats.  I eat alot of dairy for my protein...greek yogurt, cottage cheese.  I don't get it with that really.  I don't really know what it is...but it doesn't hurt...so i have said...ahhhh well.

I don't get the feeling of food moving through like you do, but oh lordy!  The collection of other-worldly sounds my body makes now is really something else!  Especially if I drink something and then lay down on the left side too soon.  It's like a stomach rumble but it comes from up high due to the pouch.  If I open my mouth at the same time it acts like a sound chamber and amplifies it!  Sometimes I have to roll over and lay on the other side to just get some peace and quiet!  LOL!  Doesn't really bother me, but it is err, somewhat entertaining, in a jeuvenile sort of way.   Still, I would do the RNY again in a heartbeat....... sound effects and all!
