I was there - where were you?

I went to the Dartmouth Hitch**** support group meeting tonight.  Where were all of you?  Yup, I'm a zipperhead!  The meeting isn't until tomorrow at 5!!!  Aaaaaaaargh! 

Anyway, I think I posted on the board to tell someone (and I don't remember who) that the meetings are the first Monday of the month.  Well, they're the first Tuesday of the month.  I could swear that I've been going on Mondays. . . talk about a senior moment!

I'm secretly hoping Alex's baseball game gets rained out tonight so I can go tonight.  If it's on, I have to go because Jim is away till Thursday.  I would go to the game anyway because I love watching him play!

Even though I haven't had my surgery yet. Can I g oto this meeting without signing up?

I think the meeting is only for post-ops.  I will defer to Lisa to correct me if I'm wrong.  I know they have other meetings each month where both pre-ops and post-ops can attend, but I'm not sure when those are held.  (I didn't go through the Dartmouth Hitch**** program for my surgery.  I just go to these support group meetings.)  Lisa, can you shed any light????

Kathy is right.  Post-ops only at this group.  Soon you'll be able to join us though!

I think things at DHMC have changed since I went through the process.  I believe they may have added a meeting or 2 for pre-surg. patients.  You'll have to call them to get the exact details, but I know for sure there are meetings there.

Now that is committment....showing up one whole day early.  I am glad I am not the only one that has senior moments!!

 I have doen alot of the pre op meetings. I wanted to meet all you skinny people tonight. I could leave right from work. I work a t the VA Hospital in manchester. Yes soon I will be able to attend them. I'm so excited. The days are getting longer and longer though.
