Anyone had Lapband from 2006, Dr. Looser

Hi as I stated I had the lapband in 2006. I am not really losing very good anymore, would love to have some encouragement, advise, ideas anything. I  did good for awhile and now not so good. Could use a buddy or buddies..I am in New Durham NH. Had the surgery in Portsmouth , had Dr. Looser. Please email me at [email protected]  I would really welcome any advice..thanks so much . Donna

You should come to the support groups in portsmouth. There is a post-op group the 2nd monday of the month at 530 and general group (pre and post) 4th monday at 630. Both have recently been in the new building beyond the hospital on Borthwick ave -- they post signs to the room (3rd floor conference room). At 630 the post-op group breaks out into a getting back on track group and a lap band group. Sounds like you could go to either. I have found the support groups to be great,although I missed the last one.

I am sure there are people there that do not post/read here that you could match up with.
