My new favorite, high protein snack...

So, lately I have been getting the munchies.  Last night I remembered that I put my leftover NECTAR protein shake (fuzzy navel flavor) in the freezer.  I took it out and it was a bottle of frozen yumminess!  SOOO much better than what I was about to eat.  Today I put the leftover (Roadside Lemonade) in a Pyrex cup so it will be easier to eat.  It really is just like an Italian Ice, but better for you.   I'm already looking forward to my nighttime "snack" later.

Wow, that sounds awesome.  I love italian ice!!!  Just way too much sugar.  I have got to try the nectar.  Where did you get the samples?

I ordered a sample of all the flavors from Nashua Nutrition.  Tried them all and figured out I like the Roadside lemonade, Fuzzy Navel and Crystal Sky the best.  So, I placed an order from Vita Cost (a Upromise company.)  Seems they are the least expensive. 

Supermarkets sell sugar free Italian Ice, but they contain Splenda and I can't tolerate Splenda.  PLUS, doing it my way gives you protein. 

I can bring you a sample of the 3 flavors above on Sunday if you want???  Let me know.

That sounds great Lisa.  I would appreciate it.  I have bought so many things in the past, only to not like it, and end up giving it away.    But I have never found a sugar free italian ice!!!  But yours sounds much better.

I am going to pack up the 3 samples now and put them in my car.  Otherwise, I WILL forget them!  I have some EAS chocolate whey protein powder as well as NOW unflavored protein powder.  Are you interested in either of those?  I'm going to put them in my car just in case.

Off to get groceries....ugh!

Yep.  My nails are so brittle too.  I have it all packed and in my car.  Looking forward to Sunday!

Thanks for this great idea.  I ordered samples of all the different nectar flavors and just got them yesterday.  I tried the apple one yesterday which was good but now I have another thing to try with them.
