Found a small calcium citrate tablet
I just wanted to let everyone know that I found a smaller calcium citrate tablet. It is about the size of your index fingernail (average one) and about a 1/3 of an inch thick. It is coated so it goes down very easily. I take two in the am, and two at night. It is Citracal Petites. I got them at Rite Aid, but I think you can get them at walmart also. I have no problem getting them down, and I do have issues with larger pills.
Thanks for the tip Martha. I actually (finally) found a brand that is working for me. It's the Walgreens brand Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D. I take 2 pills (and they seem to be about the size you mentioned, maybe a tad bit bigger) 3X/day. I'm finally getting in all my calcium! I'm glad you found something that works for you! When I bought them, they were buy 1 get 1 free (I guess Walgreens does that a lot with their vitamins.) I keep a bottle in my car and 1 in the house.

I had my GB a little over 2 years ago and I was able to find a liquid Calcium CITRATE with D at Vitamin World and that is what I have used all along. Eliminated the whole swallowing of the giant Calcium pills. I mix it in with a tiny amount of OJ (too much oj and I dump) but you could mix it in something else too.

I sometimes use the Citracal calcium and put them in my coffee, protein shake, they dissolve and from what I have read on here, the residue at the bottom of the glass is ok to leave but i do tend to swirl my drink around every so often to keep less residue at the bottom...........
So no problem with large calcuim pills that way, but I do prefer the BA calcium and kinda alternate cuz of expensive.
