Does anyone on here take these, and do you find they are better than chewables? I have heard they have a much better absorbtion rate, and are better for you...Comments or suggestions please! I am afraid I will have a hard time tolerating the chewables after surgery (I can hardly choke them down now). THANKS!

I haven't heard of these, but let me know if you try them cuz I'm having a very hard time with those chewable calciums, the flinstones chewables I can take, but the calcium is awful.

My biggest problem is getting in the Calcium Citrate.  BUT, I went to Walgreens and bought their Calcium citrate tablets (buy 1 get 1 free this week!)  I take 2 tablets 3 times a day.  It's working out great for me.  Just a suggestion.  I also have the Bariatric Advantage lozenges and will take one every now & then when I don't have water ****ep them in my car.) Kind if tastes like a snack (wild cherry flavor.)  I never heard of isotinic meds.

I read about them in a book that Nancy gave me, here is a link where you can read about them. I am going to ask Dr Pacuilli, I see her on 3/30 (for the last time before the big day!!) I am going to ask her about them at that time, and see if she reccommends them.

Hi Diane,
I posted a couple of posts down, I meant to post to you the link to read about the vitamins...the link is a few spaces down. I will let you know what Dr Pacuilli thinks about the vitamins. I also found out that you can use a flex spend account to pay for them, if your surgeon fills out a medical neccessity form- just FYI, because they are a bit more expensive.

Do you have any stats on these?  Where can you purchase them?  I also would be interested in any information anyone else has on them.

I get the bariatric advantage calcium citrate unflavored powder...wow say that 5 times fast!  You can get it in 1 serving packets or a tub.  I just add it to my shake, crystal light, coffee, anything like that.

Also a friend told me about "little tabs" multivitamin.  They are about the size of a small motrin.  You have to take 6 at a time, but I have a really hard time with the chewables.  I am getting some this weekend.
