Everything went GREAT! It was a very positive experience all the way around! The Nursing staff at PRH are fabulous from the short stay unit, operating room unit to the floor! Everyone was so friendly and attentive and just the best. I was walking the halls within a few hours after surgery and other than being a little sore, am doing fabulous and glad to be home and on the other side!!

that is awesome, so glad to hear everything went well.  I agree that the nursing staff was wonderful.  I don't remember much about my surgery day, but I do remember a male nurse who was very calming and comforting.  I just wish I remembered who he was!!!

Now just take it easy, and remember to drink your fluids, and keep walking.

Thank you everyone so much for your support! Yes, I will definitely see you at the meeting soon!
Anyone know why I came home weighing 10 pounds heavier than when I went in yesterday morning.? The gas maybe?

Hum....I think we need to tell all of the newbies that!!!  It is all the fluids they give you before, during and after surgery.  Plus gas, and all kinds of other stuff.  You will lose it and then some in a few days.
