It finally happened

I just got back from my doctor and as of today I am no longer taking any diabetic meds. I just wanted to share.

YEAH  You should celebrate.  Congratulations.

I am! I treated myself to a 1/2 cup of honey dew melon? lol

Whatever works....Right?  We are a peculiar bunch. 

WTG Garry!  You just achieved whatI'm hoping for.  I have RNY surgery scheduled for 3/31 with the goal of curing my diabetes.  You are an inspiration.

Thank you! March 31st. will  be here in no time. I can not belive that it has been 5 months since I have had the operation. Time really flies! By the time the Red Sox win the championship this year you will be a different person.

So glad to hear of your accomplishment!!  It is amazing the results that this surgery can achieve as long as you are determined to make that life long commitment!  Celebrate - Buy a new outfit at a real store - not Goodwill!!
