Hello everyone,

I have lost 22 pounds since Jan 19th. I am very proud of myself. I have been doing good but having trouble getting the protein that I need. I go back to see Dr Gould on Friday and we will see how things look from his view.

I go to the gym everyday and do cardio and lift weights for toning. I walk a mile in 20 min on the treadmill working my way up to 1.5 miles in 20.  I do 15 mins on the Elliptical machine with a varied course.

That is fantastic!  You must be relieved to have the surgery behind you.... - I am just starting the process and have an appointment at DHMC on the 2nd.  The process won't move fast enough for me.  I'm hoping I have all of my ducks in a row with what my Insurance company thus pushing the process a bit faster.  I really wish I had a clue how long it will take to get my surgery date...

Did you have the band or bypass?

Thanks, I started the whole process in Feb 08 and had surgery on Jan 19 2009. I did everything my insurance wanted and more. Dr. Gould and his team are great and you will love them.

I had the Bypass, and have lost 25 pounds since. I am finally below 300.....yahoooooo!!!!!
