New Hampshire gathering

So now that we have decided that this would be a great thing....why don't we plan it, maybe June?  After the black flies, before the hectic summer vacation and travel time.  Maybe even late April, early May.  We usually open camp in April or May, not sure this year.  I really want this to happen so let's get it done now, and then keep reminding everyone.

I know for everyone is different but approx. how long did it take for you to get your surgery date?  I'm clueless!

Hi Cathy,

It is really up to the individual, there health insurance, and their commitment.  I went to the information meeting on April 1, 2008.  I had my first meeting with Nancy on May 6th.  I had already found out that my insurance would cover my surgery.  I met all of my requirements by July 1, but because of schedules and vacations, I did not have my surgery until August 15.  I could have had it the second or third week of July.  Between July 1 and August 15, I had to maintain my weight loss, or lose more.  I was required to lose 13.  I lost 22.

Of course, this is for the Portsmouth Regional Hospital group (and Derry). I don't know about CMC and Dartmouth Hitch**** 

My schedule is pretty much wide open, although I'd rather not do it Memorial Day weekend or the 1st weekend in May, or Mother's Day weekend - oh geez, maybe May's not so good.

A get together sounds like fun, count me in. Sunday is a better day for me as I work on Saturday from 9-5....

Kathy are you going to the CMC meeting this Wednesday night?
Monique and I are planning on going, She is as I type flying back from New Mexico visiting her sister. Hopefully she will be up to going and not to tired. Hope to see you soon...Laurie

Yes, I'm planning on going.  It's from 6 to 7, right?  Across the street from the hospital?  I'm leaving for Jamaica on Friday night.   Then I'll have my plastics on 3/23, so this is probably the only meeting I'll make until April.  I'm anxious to see you and Monique.  We haven't seen each other in a long time!

Hey, I'm going to the CMC support group this Wed night!  It'll be the first one I get to go to since my surgery (Jan was candelled due to a snowstorm).   Looking forward to meeting you!

Cool!  Is this your first one also?  How will I know who you are - what do you look like or what's your first name?

 Definitely not my first, I went to 2 or 3 before my surgery and have gone to everyone since.  Donna and I have met and I have your picture here to go by.

It will be nice to meet a few more faces!
