Welcome... You are doing great. I had Cigna 2 years ago when I had the surgery. After I was in the program I found out I too had to wait and do a 6 month Dr. supervised diet. My PCP was very good and we made sure I made it in each month for the 1 month visit. I did this for 6 months and then they sent it in ( Dr. Gens Office ) and I was approved within 2 weeks. I think they do this hoping you will get tired and back out so they won't have to pay. Anyway... I just kept going. Just keep all your reciepts from the Drs. You will also have 5 classes to go to for Dr. Wagner and others tests that will keep you busy. Time will fly. Let us know when you get your surgery date. I'll be at the meeting Monday also..Unless we have a big storm
. Then they will most likely cancel. Someone will most likely post on the NH Board.

After talking to everyone on here, I called Gail and asked her if it would be alright if I had my Dr fax over her notes from my first 2 months to make sure everything is okay. She called me up after she received them and said everything looked good. I have my 3rd Dr visit on Mar. 2nd. I did the same thing you did, I started the process last september, but I had Anthem at the time and they didn't require the 6 months of Dr visits, so I wasn't doing it, then found out at the end of November that our insurance was changing. Grrrrrrrr. So I started fresh with the new insurance the 1st of January.
My first visit with Dr. Wagner is this tuesday.
Hopefully I will see you on monday!!
