Running info
Hi all,
Last spring/summer I did a 10k training group with Runner's Alley in Portsmouth. They also do a 5K training group, which Bobbi did and they were both great. I just learned that they're starting to advertise the groups for this year - they'll do them in both Portsmouth and Manchester. If you've wanted to start running, this is a great way to try it and get lots of support. www.runnersalley.com
The 5K group is VERY gradual and it's truly for beginners. For the 10K group, you should start out being ok running 1 mile. I had a hard time at the beginning of the 10K group and was last most of the time, but I got better and completed 2 10k's last summer!!
And ... below is the link to the Seacoast Road Race Serioes - a great way to stay motivated, do some beautiful runs and get a great jacket at the end!! I actually cried the day I got my jacket - I was so proud of completing the series just 1 1/2 years after my surgery. I'll post a picture of the jacket soon.

Hope to see you on the roads!! Becky
