I was taking Lunesta before my surgery for insomia. Then, I underwent hypnosis as a preop for pain management. My hypnotist asked me what meds I was taking and when he learned I was taking a sleep aid, offered to work on that too. I sleep through the night most nights now without any meds. When I do wake up, I use a series of relaxation exercises to get myself back to sleep.
