I am happy for you. I had Cigna also and had to do a 6 month medically supervised diet with my Dr. They were a pain and I think just do the diet thing to hope you will drop out. I never did. It was well worth the wait. I wish you the best of luck and keep us all posted as we are all here for you.

Thanks for all your support. And yes, I had to go through a six month Dr supervised program, too. It included a six week course, meeting with those who had the surgery, monthly weigh ins, nutritional counseling, and 2 appointments with a shrink. But, I must say that it was worth the effort and very educational. The peole involved at CMC are all very supportive.
I have diabetes and my goal is to kill the diabetes before it kills me. Since I've had it less than 10 years, the doc says I have a very good chance of having the whole thing go into remission post surgery. Now that's exciting!
The weight loss will be an added bonus.
