1 year out and what a fun ride
Well it has been 1 year on thurs the 15. Man what a quick year it was. Pauline is still recovering from the accident before xmas but she is a trooper.
In the past year so much i have been able to accomplish. Became a certified arborist, joined a gym to work on tightening up, especially since I want to climb trees again and have have not done that since high school when i bought my equipment. ( it fits better now then it did almost 16 years ago) . We have another child due in april. My little hiking partner Cody will be 4 in june and love dad on the floor playing with his train set with him he loves going snowplowing and hiking with dad in the woods.
My greatest goal was met in july on the 13 and on sept 11 i hiked mount washington. And was asked to do a radio commercial for portsmoth hospital about the gastric program

When i was told i needed to loose 72 lbs for surgery i thought i could not do it.
well i was surly wrong.

No unfortunatly they have not found the tractor trailer yet, well at last we knew anyways. Cody is a cute kid want to be just like me. During the ice storm i had him in the truck while i was cutting trees out of the roads in the town i work in and every day since dad we go cut trees. Hopefully in a couple of years i will be starting my own company and I always wanted it to be Burt and family tree care. Maybe it will happen.
my wife can't believe all of the confidence i have now. I was one of those guys who always wanted to concur the world but stood on the side lines letting other people get ahead.
I think the best thing when i udated my profile today I have gone from super extreme obese of a bmi over 60 to obese at 39.8
