NEW YEAR EXERCISE CHALLENGE
I definately need this challenge...exercise is something i haven't fit in. I work two jobs, the five kids...there isn't time. My S.O. started his new job on December 1st...after being out of work for about a year, so i will be cutting my hours down! WOOOHOOO, so i need to take my time and exercise...i can only imagine the pounds will go even faster. So...i'm in! I'm setting my goal low...to start off...i think 500.

This is my hardest thing too. Finding the time. I've noticed lately (took me long enough!) that I don't really "have the time" for exercise because I put everyone and everything else first! So, part of my New Year's plan is to make more "me time". Hopefully, I can do it. It's too important not to.

Absolutely! This is one of the greatest things about my journey so far, is how much support I've received. I've hope I've given back at least in equal measure. It's funny, I saw a couple of people at the mall yesterday, morbidly obese people, bigger than I ever was, and they looked SO UNHAPPY. And I remembered how alone and hopeless (and hostile) I felt "in the old life". I hope these people find what I have found someday. I mean, I wasn't looking for a smackdown so it's not like I could walk over and start talking about the joys of WLS! Well, off to the dog park with the pooches and lots of MOVING today.

Good job in joining the gym. That is the first step. The way the challenge works is you pick a goal that you want to achieve. Let me know what that is...we go by minutes. Then each Monday I post the challenge for the week, and everyone lets me know how many minutes they worked out. Each week gets added to the week before. By the end of the month, hopefully you have achieved your goal.
The prize at the end of the month...you feel better, you have exercised which is an important part of your program.
So let me know your goal, make it one you can easily achieve without killing yourself!! I will post it, and you do the rest.

So I have updated everyone who has replied so far. We have quite a group now, awesome.
