PRH Tonight and skiing!

Hi Shirley & Bamma - Great job tonight!!  It was good to put real faces to your OH Profile!

It looks like there are some downhill skier's on this site - we should go some time this winter!!

Thaks so much...I had fun.  I love talking about my decision now, such a change from the beginning!!

We should definately get together to go skiing this winter.  Let me get my ski legs under me again.  It has been a couple of years!

Sounds good to me.  Im just getting back into it after years of knee pain and such... Oh and I decided that snowmobiling at 80mph thru the woods was more fun :)   But  I sold most of the sleds and I have more friends that ski so Im going to spend my money on skiing this year :)

Well, I have to say that snowmobiling through the woods is more fun...especially when you see moose....and the scenary is definately better because it changes with every corner, but skiing is such a better workout!!!  I am just getting back into it after not skiing for over 20 years.  So I will probably be a little behind you all!!  I am a fast learner though

I've been on a snowmobile once and loved it.  Would like to do some more!  I've been skiing since I was 5 and continued skiing even when I was over 300 lbs!  It's much more fun now...I don't have to rest on the way down!

You what I'd love to do?  Get a bunch of us together to go snowshoeing.  I've always wanted to try this.  There was a snowshow center near me in Salem.  I tried downhill skiing as a teenager. It was not a joyous experience.  I got tangled up in the tow rope on the bunny run and fell in a trench!  I guess I'm just not graceful enough for skis!

Thanks!  I was SO nervous!  Even though I talk to people for a living, this was totally different, because I was sharing a part of myself.  This has been such a wonderful, powerful journey and it's so nice to have the support groups to go to. I didn't even think about the group this wee****il Martha posted about it, but I think I will go more often in the future.
