Oh I remember that feeling. I found out just about this time 5 yrs ago and my surgery was that Jan 19th.

I hope you have an easy surgery and a speedy recovery.

Thanks for the encouragement everyone! My "official" letter arrived today. I'm so psyched! Just thinking about how much better I will feel without all the excess weight, wow! I can hardly wait to clean out the closet. Nothing I wore last summer will fit in 2009! Awesome!
