Which one is on the 22nd? 

the 22nd is the general (pre-op) meeting.

Do you find it really helpful to go to this one?  Isn't the focus more on what happens during surgery, and immediately after?  I'm just wondering if it would be beneficial to me at a year out or if I'd be better off just to stay with the group I've been going to, and settle for once a month support group.

I go to both, but I am only 3 months out.  I find that it gives people who are just starting the process a view of the process and ask questions.  I know that there are quite a few that are a year or more that go.  I guess it is what is best for you, but the post op is the most important.

I go to this one because I personally need more than 1 meeting a month. It gives me another opportunity to interact with other people in my same situation. I also appreciated the fact when I was pre-op that there were post-op's there to answer questions and to share their experiences.

You make an excellent point.  Pay it forward, huh?  Three days before Christmas, but I will do my very best to remember to come.  Does this one start at 5:30 also?  Hope to see you there.

no, the general meetings start at 6:30.

Its the general meeting. I try to do both every month but I just can't seem to do it this month
